Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1-2 jalapeños, diced
2 Tbl oil
1 egg
1/4c breadcrumbs
4 oz cream cheese, cut into cubes
Sucklebusters Campfire Steak seasoning
4 slices bacon, cut in half
4 slices Colby jack cheese
4 brioche hamburger buns
Sauce:
1c mayo
3/4c bbq sauce
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Pinch cayenne pepper
- Mix together & set in fridge.
Instructions:
- In a cast iron skillet, sauté onions & jalapeños in oil til caramelized. Set aside.
- Fry bacon in skillet, set aside and discard grease.
- Combine onions, peppers, ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, cream cheese & season to taste. Mix carefully, trying not to split up cream cheese too much.
- Smash into 4 balls.
- Toast buns in skillet. Set aside.
- Cook burger patties in skillet to desired temperature. Season with more Campfire seasoning.
- When burgers are almost done, top with cheese & cook til melted.
- To assemble, put sauce on buns, then burger, then bacon. Add extra toppings such as lettuce & tomatoes if you want.
